The platform does not provide contractor bids, engineering services, inspections, legal advice, architectural services, emergency response, or guarantees that any repair will be lawful, safe, effective, or completed at a particular price.
All estimates, reports, recommendations, troubleshooting outputs, and guides are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They do not replace site-specific professional evaluation, manufacturer instructions, permit requirements, code compliance review, or licensed professional judgment. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to rely on any content and whether any work is appropriate for your property, skill level, and jurisdiction.
Your use of StelaHome does not create a contractor-client, engineer-client, inspector-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, or advisory relationship with StelaHome, its affiliates, its contributors, or any creator appearing on the platform.
You agree to provide accurate information, review all warnings and disclosures, comply with all applicable laws and building codes, obtain permits when required, stop work when conditions differ from the content presented, and contact a licensed professional when a task exceeds your training or legal authority.
Some platform content is community-created, AI-assisted, or both. StelaHome may review content for format, policy, or obvious safety issues, but does not warrant that any content is complete, accurate, up to date, or suitable for your specific property, equipment, tools, materials, hidden conditions, or jurisdiction.
Paid products are one-time purchases unless expressly labeled otherwise. Purchases are subject only to the specific refund remedy described in the Limited Refund Policy. Except where required by law or expressly provided in that policy, payments are non-refundable.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PLATFORM, CONTENT, ESTIMATES, REPORTS, AND GUIDES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR QUIET ENJOYMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STELAHOME AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, CREATORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, CODE VIOLATIONS, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. IF LIABILITY IS FOUND, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF STELAHOME FOR A PAID PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT PRODUCT.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StelaHome and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, creators, and licensors from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the platform, your performance of any repair work, your violation of law, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by StelaHome’s willful misconduct.
Except where prohibited by law, disputes will first be addressed through good-faith informal resolution. If informal resolution fails, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, subject to applicable law and any non-waivable consumer rights.
